The Caisis team is committed to providing the Caisis
application and the corresponding source code freely
to the healthcare community. As such, the application
has been licensed under the General Public License
(GPL). The GPL is an approved license of the Open
Source Initiative and the most commonly used license
in open source applications. Anything associated with
Caisis that is developed under the supervision of
the Caisis Foundation, including Technical and User
manuals, will be released under the GPL to allow for
